I found this 6.9 up in the mountains of Arizona. It had been sitting for years. My understanding is that the two owner car had it's ownr leave the country and pass away. I brought it back to Phoenix and got it running and it runs, drives around the block (That is all I wanted to do with it before sending it to the mechanic for tuning) The brakes work, the car is basically an unknown but I figured I would sell it here instead of put time into it and increase the price. If you do not know these cars you should check up on them. They are a wolf in sheeps clothing. The 6.9 has over 400 feet of torque and you can feel it when you drive it. This car was over $52,000 in 1979. This car is going to sell since I bought another car already (A Convertible) If you have any question feel free to ask but I really do not know much about the car other than it's history or owners and it's current condition. The odometer says 228,000 but I have no idea if the previous, very wealthy woman, had it rebuilt. My understaning is that if the car needed anything she would simply have her mechanic do it without question. The back seat is tore up, you can order new covers or rob a cheap 450sel and it has an electric sunroof.
