RUNNING PROJECT CAR! LOW RESERVE! I bought this RARE 928 5 speed several years ago & have been slowly restoring it. It has a 4.5 liter V8. Much work has been done, but more is needed. It does run. I just had the slave & master cylinder for the clutch replaced, as well as the fuel pump. The brake lines were flushed & bled. This car has been sitting for 2 years & before I got it, it sat for about 10 years. It does run & I'd be comfortable driving it around, but I highly recommend replacing all the hoses & belts prior to turning it into your driver. It has had a recent oil change. It starts right up. No smoke, no rattles or engine knocks. The oil pressure gauge doesn't register, but the other gauges appear to work properly. The fan doesn't blow. The exhaust was replaced with a good OEM system. The seats are power & all power functions work, but they are very worn. The passenger side will need a switch assembly, but the drivers switches are fine. Power locks don't work. Tires have good tread, but are dry-rotted & will need to be replaced. Needs battery. Needs paint. Clear coat peeling on front fenders. I don't know if the sunroof operates properly, as I don't want to get it open & then not have it close! Assume it doesn't work. No rear seats, they were removed & a "rear seat delete" platform was installed. (see photos) Front spoiler is missing, but replacement bolt-on replacement spoilers are available. Needs body & interior work. NO LEAKS! Small dent on drivers side fender (repair or replace the fender easily.) Older body work in rear pass side needs redone. Hood was removed, stripped & sanded. Flat black primer has been applied. There are a few photos of the headlights showing the sanded hood prior to primer being applied. The original door panels were removed for speaker installation and are not installed, but are included. They need work, but are functional. No radio. Headlights & wipers work fine, but the power windows need replacement switches. They are readily available on ebay. Restore it while you drive it. These are gaining popularity as a rare, distinctive Porsche. Three OEM keys are included. Please keep in mind this is a restoration project car & there may be some other things I've overlooked. California title from 2002 will be signed over to you. Shipping costs will be MUCH lower since this car can easily be driven on the trailer, unlike non-running projects. I do NOT recommend driving this car more than about 50 miles due to the fact is has been sitting in a state of restoration for at least 10 years, has not been inspected by a mechanic, and has dry-rotted tires.
