This auction is for a 1965 Chevrolet Elcamino. This is a great entry level drive as you restore project. It has a nice running Small Block 1973 Camaro 350 V-8, 4 BBL, Automatic Transmission and brand new Dual Exhaust system. Power Steering, Drum Brakes. Car runs and drives great. The one nice thing about this vehicle is that it has great bone structure. Has an excellent frame and solid original floors, braces, etc. Even nice clean inner rockers and body mounts. Usually these are areas commonly prone to problems on these particular vehicles but not in this case. The body on the Elcamino is reasonably decent. The paint job is amateur at best. Small area on the bottom drivers front fender could be cleaned up a little better and the same with both rear quarter sides down low. Looks like it may have had a little amature work done in those spots but can be cleaned up fairly easy. Tail gate works beautiful and is rock solid in the hinge area and across the bottom. Back bed was nice and solid but someone did a spray in bed liner. Gate has a louvered Chevy emblem design. The hood is a quality fiberglass cowl hood made by U.S Body Source Inc. The interior is on the custom side. Has a real comfortable pair of leather bucket seats, new carpet set, B&M Pro Stick Shifter with Reverse Lockout. All electrical s work fine. Just had recent New Hampshire inspection. Just a good usable classic vehicle to get in on the ground floor without breaking the bank account and yes you can fly in and drive it home. Has a very reasonable reserve. We do reserve the right to end the auction early due to local advertisement but if the car meets reserve, it will stay to the end to be fair to all interested parties.
