Up for bid is a 1992 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser wagon with 70k two southern owner miles. B body wagon with same frame/body panels as the 1991-96 Chevy Caprice and Buick Roadmaster wagons, but the Olds was built only 91-92. No body rust, good paint, and super nice undercarriage. Loaded up with power everything and all of it works - cold a/c, PW, PS, etc. Powered provided by its original 5.7L Chevy throttle body injected (TBI) 5.7L 350 V8 engine (L05) and 700R4 4 speed automatic transmission, which provides a decent balance of power and fuel economy. Base 2.73 open rear end. Delivers 16 mpg in town and 26 highway mpg (have evidence with gas receipts from VA to SC proving this,) which is exceptionally good for a car this size. The second owner of this car accidentally checked the "exceeds mechanical limits" box when he titled it in Virginia and though he fixed the title, this history report still shows that error. I have the bill of sale from the dealer in Arkansas who sold him the car that does not have that box checked. The car clearly shows like a 70k mile car. Condition Report ENGINE: Runs on all eight cylinders without smoking, missing or knocking. Engine runs at proper temperature. Good battery & good charging system. Starts easy and runs strong. TRANSMISSION: Performs beautifully. Engages gears quickly and shifts through all forward gears and reverse with good downshift and torque converter performance. Clean fluid with no burn odors. EXTERIOR: Body: Body is in very nice shape with only a couple very small dings as seen in pics. Very straight elsewhere. No body rust. Above average body. Paint: Paint is good in most spots, but has a couple scratches as seen in pics and the clearcoat is checking in a few spots also seen in pics. Still very nice. Other: Lower plastic chrome trim is all present and in nice shape. Glass is good. Undercarriage is exceptionally nice and solid - see the pics. Factory hubcaps are in nice shape. INTERIOR: Interior of the car is nearly perfect. Dash has no cracks, seating areas are in great shape, leather is nice. The rear seat was folded down before so rear seat bottom looks smooshed but its not. Headliner is nice - no sagging or tears. Steering wheel is in nice shape. Carpet is in very nice shape with some very minor wear and all 4 factory floormats are present. No smoke or pet odors. Very nice interior overall. ELECTRICAL STUFF: All inspection items work (lights, horn, wipers, etc.) The only complaint is that the remote keyless entry does not work. ALL the power options work including power windows, power locks, power seats, hot heat and cold A/C (with new compressor and R12 charge,) tilt, cruise, am/fm stereo CD, power antenna, intermittent wipers, rear wiper, rear defrost all work. DRIVEABILITY: Drives out beautifully! Steering is tight, alignment is good, suspension is tight. Brakes work well with good linings, a tiny bit of vibration. Tires have about 70% tread remaining on a matched set of good quality radials. Solid, quiet exhaust with no leaks. Check engine light is not lit (except at start up as it should.) No complaints - drives GREAT - drive anywhere. Short version terms: Small non-refundable deposit as listed (but fast) by Paypal within 24 hours.
