This 1988 Corvette Convertible is a fine example of a well kept, low mileage car. Always garaged and never in bad weather, this car is in great shape and need little to be perfect. The corvette has received new door seals and top seals which have hardened over time and were cracked. The convertible top is original and should be repaired with a new back window (cloudy), and re-sewn around the fabric edge or replaced, but is a fine example for a Corvette of its age and is not ripped or exposed in any way. It has been tuned up and is completely ready for the road. All brakes, exhaust, shocks, etc are original and has not shown enough wear to replace yet. Tires are brand new which are the Goodyear low profile race tires that are no longer available to the general public. This is the only tire change since new. Great for heavy rain, but the corvette has never been taken in the rain. Headlights gears have been replaced with brass gears, replace the old plastic gears and should never need to replaced again. Battery is brand new a month ago and is been in a charger since new. The paint is original and is of condition you would expect 1988 Corvette to have. Have a car cover that goes withe car, but it needs to be replaced. Have additional rubber seals for the convertible top that don't show signs of needing to be replaced yet, but are also included. I bought them at the same time I purchased the door and windshield pieces. I have not seen many 1988 corvettes in this type of condition and has been lightly use during its life. Special care has been taken to preserve it originality, and will serve as a great example of this product from its time. The car is sold as is.
