This popular model (fish mouth) has an untouched 351 Cleveland engine, completely original and matching numbers. Smog exempt and original low miles. Not running. Fuel system dirty and old fluids need attention. Worthy of a full restoration. No modifications including all GT wheels and hubcaps. Notice the high demand (real) GT hood. Extra tailgate from a Squire included. I was at an Estate sale with many vehicles. This Gem was parked in a carport 13 years ago by the original owner in San Diego. It was running fine and in great shape. He passed away and the car has sat since then. The original GT decals decayed and primer was sprayed where they peeled off. All glass is good. Diamond in the rough. Hot Wheels chose this year for a toy representation. There are minor spots of rust but nothing severe. Still has original paint which has faded but shows no evidence of any body damage or repairs. I removed the carpet and revealed minor surface rust that a wire wheel will make quick work of. One rust hole at the spare tire mount. I have made all California Title and Registration papers proper, legal and current non-op status in my name. No DMV issues to contend with. I had to buy this car because I have always wanted one but I don't have the funds to make it alive again. I wish I could hand it over to one of these car shows on TV and say, "make it right". With all this car has to offer in pedigree, story, options and completeness, I hope it ends up in an appreciative atmosphere. I don't have the greed to part it out. I want to point out that this is NOT a Squire model which are difficult to re-create.
