Built by David Guymon and known as "Miss Vicki". Recently discovered in a garage very close to my own house (go figure they're still out there) had been driven once or twice a year to maintain its drivability. Since getting the car I have driven it every day as a daily driver. It is very fast, steers well, stops good, very quiet until you give it gas then a low rumble. The body work has held up great over the years. She has a dent in the right rocker about 8 inches long. There is a small amount of corrosion in the lower trunk extensions. Otherwise the seams for the body work are still smooth and free of cracks. Very nice body mounts and trunk floor. The trim on the doors is a little hokey but with todays tech it could be done correctly. She has an early 60's Mercury 390 Super Marauder, Ford-o-Matic recently rebuilt. 9 inch rear, dual with porters (I'm told). Oldsmobile steering wheel. Check out the 60's Pontiac tach and 70's cassette deck. 12 volt. New wheel cylnders. Still wearing its J C Penney E 78 14 whitewalls in great condition. Now here's something cool (no pun intended) -- vintage heat and air conditioning added sometime in the 80's or 90's. The body has shaved doors, sunken antenna in right front door, rolled pans front and rear, smoothed headlights and tailights. Hidden lights in the grill, great glass, locking drivers wing window with key. The grills look like 58 Ford??? Bumpers -- who knows. The scoop was not in the original pics. She was 1964 Ford dusk rose when she was built, can still see it in the couple chips she has. She runs and drives great. I would drive her anywhere. I don't think I would trust the tires on a long trip (J C Penney - really?) In all this is a great car with history that needs very little. She has a clean title and permanent collector plates. It needs to belong to someone that wants it before I do something like paint it.
