Pair of BMW 02 project cars with extra parts. Both cars have clear Washington State titles. Car #1: 1969 BMW 1600-2. Lowered, 2.0 liter drivetrain, A/C, basketweave wheels, Lecarra steering wheel, Weber carburetor, AM/FM Stereo. This car seems pretty solid structurally, but has average to above average rusting on the sills, door bottoms, wheel arches, hood, trunk lid, spare tire carrier, and probably a few other areas. It has collision damage to the front driver side. The car is nearly complete, but many parts may need fixed, refurbished, or replaced. The engine runs poorly and backfires frequently. I haven't driven this car except to move it around the yard since 2004, but it still starts and moves. The hydraulic fluid has slowly leaked out over the last decade and the brakes may not work. It also needs a new clutch, but I would just put the drivetrain from the 1973 car in this one. The paint is peeling badly too. Car #2: 1973 BMW 2002. This car is an unsafe rustbucket. It has a 1974 motor that runs very well. It also has a nice front clip and a sunroof. I bought this car over a decade ago for the engine, front clip, and sunroof to put in the white one. I drove it around the countryside quite a bit and then had to move. It's sat outside for over a decade now. The engine still runs great, but the hydraulic fluid ran out and the brakes and clutch do not operate now. The clutch won't disengage and could possibly be stuck from sitting for so long or just may need the hydraulic system bled. The sunroof wont open or close now either. The car is titled and runs, but is so rusty that the rear shock towers are almost rusted completely away. This car is structurally unsound, incomplete and could only be safely used for parts. There are enough parts between the two cars to make a running car, and I am also including two extra transmissions, two heads, one rear end, one driveline, extra windows, seats, wheels, tires, a door, headlights and more. The cars are being sold as-is. They both have running engines. Between the two you could make one running car that would need a lot of bodywork done, maybe a race or rally car, part them out, or just have a couple old BMW's to monkey around with. Feel free to ask any and all questions, but be forewarned that you may not like the answer.
