1962 Studebaker Gran Turismo Hawk for Sale Buy This Classic Studebaker GT Hawk Powerful 289-cubic-inch V8 Engine, Beautiful Restoration in White over Blue, Family owned for 20+ Years This is a  well sorted, restored 1962 Studebaker Gran Turismo Hawk for sale. This car has been owned by the same family since the early 1990s. It has been  cared for  and it runs and drives great. The Gran Turismo Hawk was made from 1962-1964. Very few of these were made (fewer than 14,000 were sold during the three years of production). So it is always a pleasure to find a nice Studebaker GT Hawk for sale. This is a great running older restoration that still looks very nice. The white body with wide white wall tires compliment an already cleanly designed car. The interior is blue and the seats and door panels look as though they could be very well-preserved originals. The carpet is new and the interior over all looks very sharp. The dash gauges work including the original AM radio. Even the cigarette lighter works. The odometer reads 50,523 and a  case could be made that the mileage is actual and correct. This GT Hawk is powered by a 289 ci 4.7 L Studebaker engine that starts up, idles and runs great. The engine is detailed nicely and it has a great sound when running. The exhaust is relatively new and the car has a great sound from the rear tail pipes. This car looks fabulous overall. The tires are in great shape and the car is well sorted. Beautiful chrome accents line the top of the fenders, and the front and rear grille are both stylish and eloquent. Some areas in the chrome aren't perfect and there are a few blemishes in the paint.
