1974 Karmen Ghia project. I bought the car 2 years ago with the intent of restoring it in my retirement. I decided to keep working for the next 5 years so storing the car that long is not practical. The 74 Ghia is basically a rust free vehicle, a few body parts have been installed by the previous owner and would include the drivers floor, (which is tac-welded in place) a dog leg patch behind the drivers door, and a part on the inside of the engine compartment, (it's black in color). The previous owner had reconditioned the wheels and front axel, installed a new master cylinder and starter, and had purchased new rotors and disc for the front end. The car is suppose to be complete with the exception of the engine and the front seats. I came across a 69 Ghia (parts car does not have a title) with and auto stick and the motor turns over so I purchased it to help with the restoration. In the past 2 years I only managed to strip out the 69 Ghia and sell off the passenger rear quarter and the seat rails in the floor. The auction will include both cars in their present condition, the 74 Ghia does have a manual transmission. I would assume the motor will need rebuilding, I never tried starting it but it does turn over by hand. Please refer to the pictures and if you have any questions feel free to ask before bidding.
