0 false 18 pt 18 pt 0 0 false false false NO RESERVE AUCTION HIGHEST BIDDER OWNS THE CAR DO NOT MISS OUT!!!!!!You are bidding on a stunning 2 owner 1966 Nova True SS Vin# 117 Pro-Touring Monster, I took the car on trade for a 1969 Camaro Z/28 I had and must say this car is a blast, it is everything a muscle car should be while still maintaining perfect drivability on long trips. I have years upon years of paperwork included with the car if you are in the market for the ultimate Chevy II then look no further. Paint is 17 years old and is lacquer based I have the paint codes. It has held up very well throughout the years as you can tell by the pictures, but it does have some very very minor chips here and there but still looks great from 5 feet away. Car is very straight no waves, and all the doors and trunk shut and line up great. Body is rust free and all the metal is original with the exception of the 2 front fenders, which were replaced. All the floorboards and trunk are like new with no rust. All the chrome and stainless is in great shape as you can tell by the pictures. Car is all steel with the exception of the Harwood fiberglass cowl hood. All the glass is in excellent shape. Interior is all-original with the exception of the seats that were replaced with correct buckets and the package tray. Everything else is in outstanding shape considering it is original, dash and headliner are like new with no cracks or splits, Door panels are in great shape with aftermarket speakers installed, Radio works great and you are able to hear it over the aggressive exhaust and cam tone. The car is already wired for an amplifier in the trunk if the new owner wants to add one. The driver seat has one small tear pictured about ½ inch long and the carpet has a small section missing that was done when the Tremec was installed but you can’t really notice it. Gauges are aftermarket Autometer with memory recall tach and shift light, MSD 6AL box is installed in the glove box with 6800 pill. Engine is a fully balanced and blue-printed 383 stroker built by speed-o-motive, block is a 4 bolt main fully machined and proper clearances for the 3.750 stroker crankshaft, 4340 forged 6” long H Beam connecting rods, clevite 77 bearings, J&E forged nitrous pistons, and ARP bolts hold everything together, a gear drive and a mechanical comp cam was installed with cam card included 294 duration which gives it an extremely aggressive tone at idle, AFR 190cc Aluminum heads with roller rockers, Edelbrock intake and dual feed 750 CFM Holley carburetor top it all off, Ignition is all MSD Pro-Billet with MSD Wires, Blaster Coil, MSD 6 AL box, and Multi-Step Retard. Exhaust is ceramic-coated Hooker headers flowing into a full 3” exhaust with flomasters and dumps. Cooling is a new high flow aluminum water pump with new 4 core aluminum radiator which keeps this Nova SS around 190 all day long even in rush hour traffic. Entire engine is balanced with all balance paperwork included and was put on the dyno and made 530 horse all engine. Nitrous was added for show purposes and has a full remote bottle opener system. Car has never been to the track with the set up but with the Nitrous car makes well over 750 Horse and is capable of easy 10 Second passes while still being able to drive to the grocery store if one desires. Car has NEVER been sprayed system was just installed. Battery has also been relocated to the trunk with correct tray and hold down. Fuel system is all-new with Holley Electric pump, and separate system run for the Nitrous, and Holley regulator. Tranny is a TKO-600 5 Speed with all the goodies built to handle over 600 Horse ordered new and connected to a Hurst shifter. Rear was completely replaced with a Moser 9” unit with 3:90 Gears and Richmond 3rd member, Moser Axles, Heavy Duty Bearings and Seals, Eaton Posi Unit, Heavy Duty brakes and studs. Suspension was all redone with subframe connectors for added strength, complete cal-trac set up in rear with multi leafs springs and full lockout kit on the front control arms was done which helps if handle like a Corvette. Air Shocks in the rear with aftermarket sway bar and front disc brakes installed with dual master cylinder. Crager SS mags 15" on all 4 corners with new BF tires. Everything works as it should including the horn and wipers, all lights, turn signals, speedometer, dome light, etc. The previous owner drove the car every few weekends to shows and he won plenty of trophies. Car has always been garaged and covered. I have all the paperwork on everything stated and it is included with the auction, car has tons of records since June 26th, 1986 when the second owner purchased it and he is the one who rebuilt the entire car into what you see today. Car was not butchered or cut up and was built to drive everyday if one desires while still showing these new “muscle cars” what old school is all about. The 5 speed overdrive Tremec and 3:90 gears make for perfect cruising as you turn about 1900 rpm at 70 mph and it runs off 93 pump gas just fine. The Cal-tracs and suspension work makes this car go straight as an arrow without any pulling to the left or right. Nothing cheap was installed on this car it is all brand name parts that were bought new. Car needs nothing but a driver.
