1962 Ford Galaxie XL500 2 Door Hardtop....rust-free yellow and black plate California car....this is a Z code 390 4 barrel car that now has 406 Tri-power, cast iron shorty headers and emblems.....engine has a larger cam....very nice paint with light ghost flames....Weld Racing Forged Draglite wheels with near new BFG Radial TA's (front P235/70 R15......rear 295/50 R15)...the car looks mini-tubbed but is stock.......upgraded to a C6 trans with 2500 rpm stall converter....all 3 carburetors have been recently rebuilt and rubber fuel lines replaced...New gas tank with lifetime guarantee....gas gauge works...all brake cylinders recently replaced and brakes bled...new hood springs....Brake booster rebuilt......Heavy duty Optima battery....alternator.....9 inch rear end with 3:70 Positraction...recent power steering hoses...Standard distributor with MSD Box...new starter...2 1/2 inch exhaust system...available receipts included in sale..... The interior has been reupholstered with a heavy tweed material that is much more comfortable than vinyl....the horn ring has been rechromed...factory radio is in place...there is an aftermarket Toshiba TX-903 CD player under the dash....the headliner has some wrinkles, but no tears...it may be possible to pull the wrinkles out by adjusting the edges...aftermarket oil and temperature gauges....lbs of oil pressure at idle....Autometer 8K tach...100 lb Oil pressure gauge and Temperature Gauge....60 lbs of oil pressure at idle The heater assembly is out of the car....the unit is in very good shape (see photos)...a new heater core is included in the sale... The 406 fuel filter, bracket and fuel lines are included but will need to be installed... The bracket that holds the spare tire is missing....there is a tear in the sheet metal where the bracket was removed....there is a small chip in the paint at the top of the right front fender...there are some scrapes in the rocker panel stainless.....(see photos)...the trunk area is clean and rust-free...
