Just bought a Mini Cooper convertible and decided to sell my one owner VW GLS convertible. This is a 99K low mileage 35 MPG car. It has never been in an accident and does have some very minor scratches. Top looks great since it has always been garaged. We love the pep that this perfectly running manual transmission provides! Rear window (common) needed to be re glued towards the bottom but looks fine. Drives and runs like brand new. Tires are good. Everything works as advertised. Below I will list all defects, that could be addressed but not necessary until you decide to address them. Some de lamination on front bumper (minor). Air Bag sensor light remains on Both passenger windows need work, motors work fine but VW in their wisdom uses plastic gearing that breaks over time. You can manually pull them up (yes they stay up) or push them down. Like I stated above, these plastic gears are only in the 15 dollar range and can be purchased on eBay. Labor is high in my area and found it wasn't worth the 140 mile RT drive to my VW dealership. Top down, I just pushed them down, top up I pulled them up. That's it! We love this car and didn't trade it in because of typical gouging from dealer. This car is sold as is and I have disclosed everything. Would prefer it be picked up, if you have someone commercially to use that's ok also. Title on hand along with a full Vehicle history report!
