Vehicle Detail

This is a 1971 Chevy C10 short bed in very nice shape. This is a real short bed...not a shortened long bed. This truck had the rocker panels, cab mounts and cab corners replaced a few years ago when it was repainted. All of the rust issues that these trucks have has been repaired. Truck looks very good. Paint is 8 out of 10...maybe better. It is not "show car" paint job, but it looks very nice with good shine. No scrapes or chips that stand out. All of the panels are completely straight. No dents or dings that I know of. The inside of the bed is almost perfect too...just a couple small dings. Paint good in the bed too. All the glass is good in the truck...has one repair on the windshield on the left side...small crescent shape, smaller than a dime. It is 2" from the left side and 5" from the top...no where near line of sight and you have to be looking for it to even see it. The interior was redone when truck was painted. It got new seat cover, door panels, carpet and dash pad at that time. New instrument cluster and new radio system recently. The radio has ipod hookup. Every gauge and light works as does the cigarette lighter (to charge your phone, of course). Also has new lap belts that were installed this summer. The engine bay has been recently cleaned, painted and redone. Has a 1968 .307 v8 small block in it. It has an Edelbrock intake, fuel pump, fuel line and filter, and electric choke carb on it. New radiator and battery. Runs perfect. It has electronic ignition that I recently tuned up with new coil, cap, wires, plugs and PCV valve, also new vacuum hoses on the engine. I also dressed it up a bit with finned aluminum valve covers and dual snorkel air cleaner. Looks clean and nice. I painted the under side of the truck and frame with medium black. Also did the fender wells with bed liner spray. The rest of the drive train is a 350 automatic and standard non posi 307 rear axle. It has dual exhaust with Flowmaster (I think) mufflers with turn downs just in front of rear axle. Truck has not been lowered. Has nice rally wheels with 95 percent white letter tires. Truck has power steering and power brakes. I put a new master cylinder and new brake booster on it within the last month. Also has new weather stripping on the doors. Everything works on this truck except the windshield washer. It also has a small oil leak...transmission fluid. It leaks a spot the size of a quarter after you drive it. It stops leaking after that. I have the original owner's manual and Protect-O-Plate with the truck as well as a couple of the invoices for repairs and parts. No other issues at all. Good looking truck that gets a lot of looks. Needs nothing. Just drive and enjoy. Title in hand. $500 deposit due within 24 hours. For sale locally as well. Also, I am driving it almost every day so the mileage could be a couple hundred miles higher...not that it matters on a 1971. I can be available virtually any time for viewing. Truck is located one hour south of St. Louis, MO. You can call or text my cell phone with any questions. (573)631-1941.
