This is a wonderful, rare 1975 Austin Mini Clubman. The car has been well maintained and is very fun to drive. It is an original 1975 model with no modifications or title adjustments. The car is registered and fully drivable in California with a clear and current title. I’ve paid the registration on it every year so I’ve been free to hop in and drive around on the weekends. It is exempt from smog emissions testing requirements because of the model year. (Models newer than 1975 require smog testing in California.) Here are some details, feel free to ask for more info: The car has been in our family since new. I imported it to California from Italy in 2001. It came from a dry climate, so there is none of the massive rust seen on cars that came from wet areas.British Heritage certificate showing the date of manufacture Clear California title, currently registered and drivable 60,235 original miles (96,939 KM on the odometer) Interior: Clean black vinyl seats in great shape, black carpet and side panels Clean black vinyl dash with the rare upper dash pad. Clean white headliner Left-hand drive (Steering wheel on the left like all cars in the U.S.) Front seat shoulder belts Engine: Original 1098cc engine with no leaks or smoke Engine revs smoothly and pulls great for a small car 4-speed manual transmission that shifts smoothly with no grinding or any weird action The speedometer recently began to fail on occasion. Body: No major rust on the body or the frame, including the underside (dry climate car). A small amount of surface rust underneath the battery and behind the right rear wheel. Needs a paint job as the clear coat has faded. I would have painted it but figured the new owner might want to do something else, so why mess with it. Recently installed: New tires and brake pads for the front disc brakes and rear drums New battery and safety fuse New complete electrical system with modern fuses. I didn’t like the old wiring so I had a professional do it all new to specifications. The parts that need work: Needs a paint job Speedometer is intermittent. I tested it and seems to the gauge itself. The ride is stiff as it is still on the original suspension The car is coming on 40 years old. Can’t do much about that, but at least it won’t be a headache project car. I’m only selling this one because I have another Mini. Please pay the remaining due balance within 5 business days following the deposit. All financial transactions must be completed before title transfer and delivery. Payment Methods: The deposit may be made using PayPal, but the entire purchase price may not be paid this way. I accept the remaining balance in the form of a U.S. official bank check or wire transfer. Delivery: Delivery costs and arrangements are the sole responsibility of the buyer. I will help as much as I can and deliver the vehicle to a reasonably close, reputable shipper and make sure the Mini gets on its way to you safely. I can recommend a few car shippers if needed. I have cared for this car well and will do my best so that you may enjoy it soon.
