Vfr800 1998 first thing is the head gasket is bad needs replacement. Otherwise this bike is fantastic although it's a street fighter the engine is phenominal. Compression is blowing through radiator cap which obviously indicates head gasket. The last time I rode it, it was flawless very powerful wheelies in 2nd gear without using the clutch. Never ever popped the clutch which is also perfect. This is meant for a mechanic grab the bike cheap swap the head gasket and go on a road trip. I swapped the regulator with an r1 regulator for perfect seamless charging system. Everything is 100% excludi g the head gasket. I'm negotiable but I'm not giving it away. Very disappointed to let it go my first bike but I can't fix it. I went Down last season around 25mph put on entire New front end forks,triple clamps, steering races..and so on. Fast and full of torque v twin independent swing arm. Full Vance and Hines exhaust system. Awesome bike and everyone says they like it better as a street fighter.. I have the bike at a shop on bruckner Blvd in the Bronx.
