Here we have a very good original Honda CB175. 6250 original miles and clear Ohio title. This bike was fixed up by a friend 7 years ago and purchased by my mother-in-law. He went through everything at that time, lined the gas tank which is very clean inside, replaced fuel lines, new fuel filters, cleaned and adjusted carbs, set timing, shined everything up, new tires, adjusted brakes, etc. She did not ride it and it sat for most of that time in a garage. She admitted she will not be riding and gave it to me to fix up and sell. I purchased a brand new battery in summer 2014, cleaned the carbs, flushed the fuel tank and replaced old gas, replaced the front brake cable which had snapped, changed the oil, adjusted tire pressure and replaced the fuel cap gasket which was the old leaky cork type with a new rubber gasket. It started right up and I took it for a few test drives. I did have to clean the slow jets two more times due to old varnish clogging them, bogging down idle, but that seems to be over now. The bike runs well and that is how I'm selling it. It is as-is and I can make no guarantees, but anyone who knows these old Hondas knows they are built to last. All lights work, shifts through all gears fine. I had it up to 55 mph today before listing it. This bike could use some minor adjustments if you would like it to start on the first or second kick, but it starts ok and runs good. I did not reset timing or change spark plugs. This is a small, lightweight bike which can fit in the back of a cargo van as well as the back of a pickup truck.
