My mother-in-law has had this car for at least 13 years and loved the fact that it got near 50 MPG. She drove it down to Arlington Texas from Tulsa OK last weekend and I am afraid the little motor is about to go. The salvage yard offered me $253 and free pick up without even looking at it so I am starting there. I have tried to get good picture to show any flaws in the body but it is a pretty good platform for someone who would rebuild or replace the motor to have a 45 - 50 MPG car. The car and my mother-in-law are here in Arlington but her title is at her home in Tulsa so it will not be available until we drive her back home next week. The Oklahoma title is clear and will be no problems. Buyer will be responsible for removal of vehicle within 7 days from the end of the auction. If the buyer is out of state and I need to meet with a car hauler on the weekend, we possibly extend the pick up time. The car does start and might pull itself onto a car hauler but I would not call it drive able. A deposit of $200 by Paypal is expected within 2 days of the end of auction or immediately with the use of the Buy it Now feature. The balance will be due when I deliver the title.
