Vehicle Detail

I bought this about 10 years ago with the intention of restoring it, I had the floor panels, inner and outer sills replaced, but that was 10 years ago, they are still good but have some surface rust on them. The car does have a lot of body rust through just to be clear on that and will require a lot of work, but it will be worth it when done. The bonnet, doors, and wood are in good shape. The car was originally exported to Singapore and spent half of it's life there, a retired oil rig worker that was living there for a few years bought it there and brought it back to Texas probably around 30 year ago. It was never titled in the U.S., it has a Singapore title or more of a booklet listing some of the previous owners. The radiator, convertible top frame, steering column, rear fenders are inside the car, I do have the boot lid also, the motor and transmission are missing. I also have quite a few parts for the car I bought 10 years ago or so and we could work out a separate price for those if interested, I'd have to see what I have but I have a set of( were new) tires, exhaust system, seat frames, steering wheel with new head piece, just a bunch of misc. parts and most were bought new. I have a Standard Register certificate for the car showing a build date of October 26th 1954, Pearl White with Blue Vynide interior, wire wheels, heater delete, adjustable steering, and showing a delivery destination to Singapore, I have the Singapore license plate. This would be a good winter project for someone that knows how to do his own sheet metal work and paint, if I knew how to weld and paint I would probably keep it. It's a rare car that deserves to be restored, there are not many TR2's around especially right hand drive ones. Any questions feel free to email me. The car is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to cancel this auction at anytime.
