Vehicle Detail
1977 Ford Mustang II - Cobra II (custom)Customized Cobra II for sale...... her name is Frankenstang IIShe started life as a black and gold Cobra II back in 1977, but today she has been customized and modeled after a 68 Shelby Mustang. The entire front end, bumper and hood are custom made (see pictures). This car draws attention to it everywhere you go. The previous owner did most of the custom work, but in the last six months we have installed a new paint job, complete new engine cooling system, new exhaust, new custom front seats, new stripes and decals, etc., etc. This car has way to many little custom parts to list....the best way to get the full picture about this car is to see it in person. (which I will be very happy to show you at any time) She has more than enough power from a 302 ci engine and a C4 automatic transmission. Drives good and is fun to drive. Because of the custom front seats this car is not good for people over 6'1" and over 225 lbs...(the cockpit is just a little too small for larger people)The car is not perfect, but for a 1977 Mustang II it is amazing that it is in this good of shape. The pictures tell the real story, and I will be happy to answer any questions about the car or send more pictures. The AC has been removed for weight reduction....but I am sure it could be re-installed.The tires are about 1/2 worn, but they still have a lot of miles left in them. The wheels are from a 2006 Mustang....with custom spinnersI have entered the car in several local car shows and it always draws a lot of attention.....if you have any questions, just ask.The starting price of $9,500.00 or more will buy the car; although I have invested more than $16,000.00 and many hours working on it. Also, you will notice the "Buy it Now" price is very nice also. Bid to win and Good Luck. ...... I have been ask many times why I am wanting to sell Frankenstang II. I have several other classic muscle cars and I just want to move on to another "toy"... I really want to buy and /or build a Rat Rod. So, if you have a cool Rat Rod (or any other cool car, of like value) I am very open to talk about a trade.
