1965 Chevrolet Pickup LWB Panel Truck Carryall I have about 100 more pictures if you are interested in seeing them let me know. Up for auction today is a 1965 Chevrolet Panel Truck. It is the C30, 1 ton, LONG wheelbase version with no windows. It was probably used as some sort of delivery truck. It was originally painted orange with white trim and then someone painted over that with gold. Right now it has a rat rod mix of those colors and some darker primer layers showing through as well. It has manual drum brakes, manual steering, and manual transmission. The truck has, what appears to be, a straight 6 250ci truck engine. This engine starts and runs pretty good. Other than the swapped engine and paint job, the truck is very original down to the wood bed. Of course it does need some repairs to get itself back on the road. There is a leak in the brakes and all the lines look pretty suspect, so I would plan on all new lines. Master cylinder should still be good because the brakes worked before the line busted. The fuel filter needs to be reinstalled and the line from the gas tank to the to it seems to be at least partially clogged, so plan on replacing some fuel lines as well. There is also some wiring that needs to be cleaned up and redone. Cosmetically, it has rust along the bottom edges of the fender and and rocker, and it is especially so in the rear fenders to the rear of the truck. It also could use some new floors up front as the original ones have an amateur patch job from a while back. Underneath the truck is nice and solid with minimal rust, in fact it looks great underneath and on the frame. The seats are solid and functional but the vinyl is cracked and ripped in places. She is showing 41445 miles and who knows if it flipped one or more times. I have an open North Carolina title from 1975 to include with purchase. It is signed over by the previous owner and the new buyer can just fill their name in and avoid the hassles normally associated with getting old vehicles without titles. Truck has been off the road since the late 1980s. OK, so the truck and I are located in beautiful Asheville, NC ZIP 28805. Of course for this type of payment there will have to be sufficient time for the payment to clear my bank before the truck can be picked up. The truck will not be available for pickup until your payment is cleared to my bank's satisfaction. I will not be able arrange for shipment myself but I can assist anyone that the buyer would send to pick it up and I can point you in the right direction for affordable shipping rates. The truck engine runs with a cup of gas, but it is not currently driving or stopping so that will need to be taken into consideration when arranging shipping.
