This 1959 Ford Ranch Wagon was our family car. This car has been in our family for as long as I can remember, almost 50 years! It has not been driven in the last 20 years and not started in the last 8-10 years. Odometer reads 100,020 miles. A rebuilt carburetor was added at some time. There is a manual transmission, on the column. The rear drum(s) were frozen, the last time it was started, so the rear tires will not roll. I do not know the current condition of the engine, transmission, rear end, frame or exhaust system. When it was being driven, there was a slight sound in the transmission when in reverse gear.. There is rust holes, scaling and scratches present on the body as partly shown in the photos. Floor boards show rust severe on drivers side and rust holes on rt passenger with extensive scaling of rust of the remaining floor boards. There is considerable rust and holes present in the wheel storage compartment and rust on the latches and edges. Some wood appears to be added under the vinyl in the rear compartment behind the wheel wells on the sides. Some modifications were done with the addition of fog lamps, oil pressure and amp gauges and other switches added to the dash that I am not sure what they do but were probably related to towing of a small house trailer. There is a home made steel hitch that needs to be replaced. The taillights are two different red colors as one was apparently replaced at some point. Wood blocks were added under the front seat apparently for higher seat height. Side view mirrors appear not to be original. Some of the door seals are damage and notice some water leakage pass some to the door/window seals. Smoke-free environment. Please review all pictures carefully. Any questions please contact me.
