please finish my restoration project, Unknown actual miles, odometer quit working at 56276. interior not finished. exterior ready for paint, or could leave as flat black. all floor pans in good shape, runs well but still leaks a bit of oil (the infamous vw spot). so much work already accomplished, all you have to do is pick up where i left off and finish this amazing deal. Recently hired by NYC fire department and unable to finish the restoration. Approx. $2,000 invested in parts alone, the list is as follows: -Rear main seal -Batt. and Batt. box -Muffler and all seals -Plugs and cables -Ignition coil and rotor -distributor cap -oil strainer cap, filter, and gaskets -clutch, pressure plate, and throw out bearing -hood seal and engine seal -head light switch -brand new dash board (Not fully installed) -fly wheel -valve cover gaskets -front driver side fender and seal -head light ring, and fuel cap that is a good majority of things done thus far, im sure there are things i forgot to list and easy preventive maintenance things that i didnt feel like boring you with. when purchasing this vehicle i will also include all the service manuals that i have to help you finish it up, which include: -"How to keep your Volkswagen alive" John Muir -"VW service manual type 1, 1970-1979" Bentley publishers -"How to restore VW beetle" Jim Tyler -"VW 1600 owners workshop manual" Haynes -"VW beetle repair manual" Haynes I will also be including all extra parts that i have or that i think would help you out, such as: -glove box and locking latch -fuel pump and gaskets -all engine seals and gaskets -bag of fuses -car cover -engine dolly and fly wheel locking tool if you have any questions feel free to send them my way, delivery of the vehicle is on you, or local pick up if you want. i will work with you any way i can to help pick up of the car to make transport to where you need it as easy as possible.
