This a 1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible with 26504 miles. It was purchased August 25, 1986 from the original owner. My father had it painted and hand pinstriped and it's been in the garage ever since. The car has not been driven much in 28 years and the garage is not climate controlled. We installed a new battery, removed the plugs, put some light oil in the cylinders, and it fired right up. It drove fine and shifted fine driving around the block. THIS CAR WILL NEED A LIGHT/MED RESTORATION since it has been sitting so long. The body is straight and the plastic rear quarter and bumper fillers have deteriorated with the age (typical for this car). There are other minor issues like broken headlight alignment springs (also typical with this car) The car is in Rhode Island and does NOT come with a title since RI doesn't issue titles on cars over 10 years old (purchased in 1986 when it was just 10 yrs old). We have the sales tax paperwork along with the original bill of sale. The car also comes with the original manuals and window stickers. The top and leather interior are in very good condition and everything appears to be original.The power top, windows, and door locks work as of this listing (the car is 38 years old so these could stop working anytime). We are selling AS IS and AS SEEN and cannot guarantee anything on the vehicle due to it's age. Buyers can inspect the car in RI. We cannot allow driving on the open road (just up down the driveway or block) since the car is not registered and the tires are 28 years old.
