This particular vehicle appears to not only have been very well kept, but even cherished by the previous owner(s).It comes with all supporting records and documents to validate this statement. It has the Original Window sticker, a folder full of maintenance receipts, the original buyers order where it was purchased new, original demo CD and Cassette (never opened), original brochures, Color charts, Quick reference guides, Gold Keys and Key Chain (never used), and finally a pile of Allante Owner's Magazines that the previous owner must have belonged to. Serious Collectors know how important and valuable records of these types are when it comes to the value of a collector car, and this one has them!! There were only a little over 21,000 of these vehicles built between 1987 and 1993, with only 2,500 being produced in 1991. It was designed to compete against the Mercedes SL and the Jaguar XJS, but with a lot more comfort. The vehicle was produced in two stages, with the body by Italian design studios Pininfarina, it was assembled in Italy by Italian craftsman, then flown to the U.S. for final assembly with the chassis. Original M.S.R.P was over $56,000 in 1991(over 24 years ago). This particular Allante drives out great, it is smooth and responsive with a transmission that shifts as designed. Engine starts easy and idles smooth, in fact I removed the oil cap and shined a flashlight down inside, the top of the head is as shiny and clean as the day it was built, along with the entire engine compartment looking new and bright, Amazing... In addition, Undercarriage is dry and free of any leaks from all major seals, exhaust is solid, and there is no evidence of rust.. All the electronics on the car are bright and clear and function as designed. A/C blows cold, and fan works as designed on all settings, Info center along with date and time function perfectly. The radio does have some buzzing in the speaker amps and may require replacement, I checked on this and they are available through Allante Source in West Palm for $90.00. The amazing part of this particular Allante is the apparent care it has received. The interior is immaculate as shown in the pictures. I've seen a large number of these cars that have shown significant wear. The trunk area is very clean also and came with the optional full size spare and cover. It appears that the rim and tire have never seen daylight. the Alloy Rims on this vehicle are in the best shape of any 24 year old car I have ever seen. All rims are bright and shiny, and even the center emblems are clean and bright, almost as if they had never been used!! Tires are about 60 % and are correct size and brand for the car. The body overall is in great shape and car fax shows no history of damage. There are a few blemishes here and there on the car which should be expected of a 24 year old vehicle, in fact the trunk has what appears to be some acid rain spots or sun damage. From three feet away or in the shade it is not noticeable, but can see in direct sunlight. I tried to photograph it, but so light that it would not show in pictures. Canvas top is in great condition, and all pull down motors work, if you intend to drive the car full time you might want to have an adjustment done on the top as the rear lacks about a 1/4 inch from pulling down completely. Wanting to drive the car with the top down all the time, I did not care. Selling vehicle only because I have no place to keep it, would love to keep it around being as nice as it is. This is the perfect vehicle for a relaxing day on the Blueridge Parkway, top down cruising. Bottom line is this is a lot of collector car for the money. I have priced it right to sell quick. Most other Allante's that are even close to this condition and miles are overpriced in the mid to upper teens, and they do not come with the history or records this one does. I have made an attempt to list all the good points of the car, along with anything I knew that might need attention. This is a solid car and a terrific bargain for someone who wants a collector car, but does not want to break the bank. It also is one of the most comfortable collector cars you can purchase today, with all of it's luxury features plenty of room and not to mention nice comfy seats.
