1980 Triumph TR8...restored by the late legendary Nick Hanges from N.A.R. back in 1996. Restoration included new paint, struts,rear shocks, complete interior,radiator,wheel bearings, clutch,pressure plate,throw-out bearing,etc.ect. BRAND NEW 4.0 ENGINE FROM RIMMER BROS.(not rebuilt)...cost of $4500. Car has approx. 2,788 miles on 140 MPH speedometer since restoration. I've owned this car for close to 30 years. I just flushed the radiator, changed the gearbox fluid(GM snychromesh),installed new calipers and brakes, oil change, new tires and rims $1500. Has a few dings from the kids...but pictures speak for themselves. It comes with an Edlebrock 500 CFM carb, Offenhauser manifold. Car is fast, and reliable. Yes...I do have the original wheels(glass beaded and painted Mercedes silver and clear coated)...I also have the original air conditioning set-up...stored in a heated basement it's entire life. The seats are like sitting on new...stiff/firm foam.This is not your typical ratty TR8 asking $12-15K. Come and test drive...don't buy then cry. Body had 62,000 on it before restoration. The labels are still on the resonators(rear mufflers) Just bought rotisserie restored 1970 Dodge Charger and 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback...hate to sell it but must make room for American Muscle. Car is for sale locally.
