Vehicle Detail

This is a 1998 Ford E350 extended van that I bought from the company I work for. It was bought new by my company in 1998 and was used primarily for long distance transports and very little first line emergency response. I have had it for about 2 years and I began to drive it in January of this year after doing some customization to the interior. It was stored indoors before I had it and I had it stored indoors the entire time I had it as well. There is virtually no weathering on this van and the paint shines almost like new. The interior is clean and the seats show little wear. There are no seat stains and I had removed the front carpeting and cleaned it when I made the interior modifications. I drove it 80 miles round trip to work with no issues; it alway started easily in cold weather without being plugged in. It does have a block heater installed. It had new tires on the front when I got it and I had new silent armor Firestone tires put on the rear. I drove it about 3000 miles and have since bought a pickup truck which fits my needs better. Hence it is for sale. As you can see I installed 3 captains chairs in the back and modified and removed some of the interior cabinets. Wall grade woodgrain Formica was installed on the sliding cabinet doors (not cheap vinyl stick on paper). The captains chairs are easily removable by removing two bolts which go into mounting brackets on the floor. No need to crawl under to vehicle to remove the seats. The van had one small surface rust area where the running board meets the fender well on the driver's side and it has been touched up with matching paint. Before I got it a deer was hit in the right front; there is a dent in the panel below the right headlight and the deer spun around and there is a dent in the bottom of the front side doors. (see photos). The head light was repaced after that impact with a new one. The van has the 7.3 Powerstroke engine and the 4R100 transmission. The engine runs as it should with good power and the transmission shifts as it should. I was going to install a towing hitch and had drilled the frame; it will accept a 10,000 lb draw tite hitch as a bolt on. It is not wired to tow as yet. It had new batteries installed in January of this year. It is PA inspected until January of 2015. I have driven it about 3000 miles to work out any issues (the only thing I found is I had to put a starter on it as the original one was getting "weak"). It is due for an oil change which will be done prior to pick up by the new owner. I had installed new fuel and air filters prior to starting to drive it. The red warning lights were removed and the side lights changed to all floods which are operational. The rear upper red lights are LED's and connected to the turn signals. The front upper amber lights are LEDs but have not been connected to the turn signals. It would be easy to connect them to the turns and wiring is coiled in the ceiling for that pupose. I choose not to connect them as I did not like to flashback on the hood at night. The unit is prewired for a 110 volt inverter but none is installed. All interior lights work. This vehicle is offered as-is with no warrenty. I have bought and sold quite a few ambulances over the years and have never had anyone not be satisfied with their purchase. They have gone from PA to Michigan and PA to Fort Lauderdale, Florida and all have been driven there without issue. This particular one is the nicest one I have had and I expect the purchaser to be happy with it. I invite anyone to come and test drive it here at my residence; it is not currently licensed due to me transferring my tag to my new vehicle. There is a notary available about 5 minutes away for notorized title transfer and PA plates. Payment will be 500.00 down in 24 hours unless other arrangements are made with me. Balance is due on pickup within 7 days. I can store the vehicle here but full payment needs to be made in 7 days. Payment is to be cash or certified check. Buyer is responsible for tax, title work, and tags etc. The milage may increase a bit if someone comes to see it and test drives it. This vehicle was listed on EBAY in May of this year and sold; the buyer failed to contact me and I opened a resolution. He turned out to be a non-paying buyer and his excuse was: "I shoudn't have bid on it as it just won't work for me". I had tried to contact him for 4 days without a reply until I opened a resolution. So, I stress, only bid if you intend to buy. I never had a bad experience on EBAY prior to that and hope I never do again. Happy Bidding! Please feel free to ask questions.
