For Sale is a 2001 Dodge Diesel Ram 3500 Dually southern California truck with no rust. The seven years I've owned it I've only pulled a car trailer with it a couple of times. It's mostly been a commuter/work truck. I had intended on making this truck a long term "keeper" where I've invested in a few nice upgrades such as the FASS Titanium fuel lift pump, BD Diesel Switzer upgraded Turbo, Volant air intake and Volant stainless steel turbo back exhaust system. My plan was to semi retire, buy a camper for it and escape, but things don't always workout. With the upgraded Turbo I immediately notice overall power improvements, more high end "giddyup." This truck will pull your house. Part of my plan was to chip it, but I never got around to it.There are some issues: The front end is worn and will need repair, such as ball joints and tie rod ends ect... (notice wear on front tires, see pictures). Being a work truck there are dings and scratches but mostly in the bed area. See picture of bed to cab where a load slid forward and pushed it into the cab. There is also a small dent on the lower right door. The paint looks a little thin in some areas. I had hope on getting the truck completely repainted. The rear bumper is dinged a good bit. It was like that when I bought it. One of the many things I'll miss about this truck, besides the power, are the very comfortable heated leather seats. They do help loosen up my sore tired lower back in the morning.
