For sale, my 1979 Plymouth Trail Duster truck. This is the same truck as the Dodge Ramcharger but under a Plymouth label, made from 1974 to 1981. These trucks are pretty rare, and really rare in this condition. This truck is four wheel drive, has a V8 5.9L 360 engine with a 2 barrel carb and 138000 original miles. I am the third owner and I have two notebooks that show everything that was done to this truck since 1980. The truck has the original paint and while she does have a little rust, it's just that--very little behind the wheel wells and on the inside of the tail gate. All of the original glass is intact and she has the original chrome wheels with new all season highway radial tires. She's had a recent tune up with new plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor, pcv valve, fuel filter, and oil change. The distributor and magnetic pickup coil have been recently replaced and the carburetor has also recently been rebuilt. There is a tow hitch on the rear and a winch mounted to the front bumper. The original factory AM/FM CB radio still works and the body looks fine as frog hair. The roof is removable--this is a convertible truck! She's not perfect--she is, after all, 35 years old, but you'll be hard pressed to find a truck like this in as close to original condition as this one. I've tried to take just as good care of this truck as the last owner. The NADA guide shows the average retail of this truck at $4875 and the high retail at $7200. This is a really cool classic truck but I just don't have room for it...right now she's parked in my neighbor's yard. I have the clean/clear (NOT SALVAGE) title in hand.
