Up for auction is a 1965 Buick Sportwagon. A one family owned car from southern California. Original black plate car. All original except for a repaint probably at least 20 yrs old. It was painted over the original color which can be seen in the door jambs. Looks like an E. Schieb paint job. Even though the car was repainted it is easy to see that no body work was ever done to the car. It is very clean and dry. There are no dents in the body what so ever and the only dent in the whole car is in the rear bumper which does not prohibit correct operation of the tailgate. There is only one rust spot developing in the lower passenger door. No other rust in the car. roof windows do not leak. Interior is original and in great shape. Only tears are in the front driver seat back. A dealer installed air conditioning system was installed when new with a york style compressor. Car is equipped with the 300 cubic inch engine with factory four barrell carb. Car runs great. A dual exhaust system was installed replacing the factory single exhuast. The transmission is the two speed Super Turbine 300 with switch pitch converter. Trans shifts fine but does clunk a little when it downshifts. car has power steering and power brakes. Tires are in good shape and the car is road worthy and ready to drive.
