Vehicle Detail
(No Reserve) All original 1966 Ford Mustang Automatic, 289 V8 with 4 barrel Edelbrock 650 Endura Shine Thunder series Carburetor with electric choke. Car has 88,474 original miles. Car has Dual Exhaust, Power Steering, Rear Air Shocks, Custom Center Console, Factory Air Conditioning. New Rims and Brand New special ordered white lettered BF Good Rich T/A Tires. I had the engine completely rebuilt inside out from top to bottom in 2002, I have receipts. Car has all matching numbers and a CLEAN & Clear Title. Car is also original color. Car had 75,563 miles when engine was rebuilt and the actual miles on the engine now is 12,911 Miles. I’ve owned my car since 2001 and it has always been very, very good to me and has never ever left me stranded. I give you my word that this car runs and sounds amazing, the engine purrs and runs like brand new and has a lot of power and pep, there is not a tick or a knock in it and does not leak or burn any oil in fact the only leak the entire car has is a small power steering hose leak which I have a new hose for it and of course I will be including that with the car. Car is registered and insured. It's adult owned and I still drive it. It’s always been garaged with a car cover over it and is very well maintained. I only drive the car from May to mid October. I’ve never driven it in the snow or on rainy days. Car has never been in any accidents. There’s no dents or rot on the car and the frame is solid there is however a small blistering spot in the paint by the corner of the windshield and at the very bottom of the right rear quarter by the door but it’s hardly noticeable. There’s also two small hairline paint cracks on the the body and there about 2 inches long and they have been there since the day I purchased the car in 2001 and there the same as they were then and never gotten any worse so it’s never really bothered me and I’m a picky person believe me but the car is absolutely gorgeous regardless, it’s in great condition and very reliable in fact for who ever buys this car, you can save money on shipping costs to get it home just by driving it yourself because you can drive this car everywhere and anywhere across the country safely & comfortably and believe it or not, it's good on gas. Every time I take it out it makes heads turn and it’s a lot of fun to drive too, you will not be disappointed I live in country area and my wife and I love driving it on the weekends out on the back roads, car also drives real nice on the highway it doesn’t pull, shake or shimmy it drives real nice and straight and it also had a front end alignment done on it last June 2013. Car starts right up with just a turn of the key without pumping the gas pedal. Everything works accept for the A/C, for me it has always been a summer car and I love driving with the windows down so that never was an issue for me but I completely understand for some it can be, I’m sure it could be repaired I just never had it checked out. Exhaust has newer headers with two all Turbo2 Chamber Flowmaster mufflers. Car has New right and left front upper control arms, New Radiator, Carburetor, Water pump, fan, starter, ignition coil, wiring harness for lights, fuel pump, electric choke kit, belts. I have receipts for everything I’ve done and replaced on my car. I also want to ad that the stereo power amps in the trunk are not included with the car I'll leave all the wiring in so that who ever buys it won't have to rewire everything up again, just plug the new power amps in and your good to go if you decide you want power amps. The door windows have a little trouble going up and down but they do go up and down accept passenger side window only goes down half way (They both need window clips), vent windows work fine and doors open and close perfectly, there’s no rubbing and there nice and aligned. The back seat has 2 tears on the bench seat, I have a brand new seat cover for the top part of the back seat that I’m including I also had the bottom part but I think I might of misplaced it or threw it out by mistake during when I moved when I got married, I will continue to look for it and if I find it before or after I sell the car I will send it to whoever buys it. The complete set for the front and back seats is actually pretty inexpensive and you would only need to buy the bottom part of the back that's it. But regardless of the tear in back seat the interior is very nice. Carpet has no stains, fading or rips and dash has no fading or cracks in it and no cracks in the steering wheel which is typical with these cars. Like I said over all it’s a gorgeous car inside and out in fact I put my car in car shows in over the years that I've owned it and it got a trophy in the summer of 2011 and it has also been in local parades. This is not a project car, this is a car that you can just get in and drive and you're good to go. I really love my car and it means so much to me and my wife I swear to God the only reason why I’m selling it is because I have to not because I want to. I’ve been out of work for a while and my wife is only working part-time right now and we're a bit behind on bills so at this point I just can’t keep it anymore and It breaks my heart to sell it but I really have no choice right now, in fact when I get back on my feet I would be very interested in buying it back from whom ever buys it if they were willing to sell it. When I bought this car years ago I never had any intentions of selling it what so ever. Between what I paid for it and what I put into it is a lot more money than what I’m asking for it believe me. I just I hope it goes to someone that appreciates it as much as my wife and I do. Please if you have any questions feel free to call me or email me.
