Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a 1950 Ford F-1 rolling body project. It's sitting on a 1985 Chevy S-10 frame with front disc brakes and has Chevy V8 motor mounts. Under the rear is a Ford Explorer 8.8" drum brake rear end with 3:73 Limited Slip posi and 3" lowering blocks. Mounts have been made and cab is bolted down. Bed is just sitting on frame right now, and just needs to be fabbed up to bolt down. The cab on this is really good. There is some rust in the toeboards on each side, but under the seat and gas tank is solid . Right rear cab corner will need replacing. Roof on cab, around the window openings, door openings, cowl and firewall, and backwall are in nice shape. The doors are in great shape with no rust and are complete with working regulators. Will need all new glass, but all of it is flat glass and easy to have new ones cut. Dash looks good and has original instrument cluster in good condition. Steering is not hooked up. I have a 1962 Chevy Impala steering column with a 1963 Chevy Nova steering wheel mocked up in it. I have a Chevy S-10 brake booster/pedal assembly and a Ford Aerostar brake booster/master cylinder/ pedal assembly that comes with it. Either one will work good. Really nice hood and hinges. Front and rear fenders are in good condition and have very little rust . Grill is good with one small dent and has a good radiator support. Bed is very solid with good front and side walls. Still has the original metal floor in very good shape. Tailgate is really nice too. Extra parts include inner door panels, left inner fender, running boards (which do have some rust but fixable), running board mounts, front fender inner braces, hood stainless trim and latch assembly, S-10 And Explorer park brake assemblies, heater box with core and fan, aluminum driveshaft, splash pan, hood hinges, and probably some other items I just can't remember right now. Wheels on it come with it. Front are fair, back are decent, but all hold air. This would make a great project, whether it be a rat rod, hot rod, street rod, restomod, just whatever you have an eye for. This truck has no title and you're buying it as is. Comes with a bill-of-sale. Depending on the state you live in, it can be bonded to get a title. Hope I've described it in good detail. Can pay deposit with PayPal or bring balance in CASH.
