Vehicle Detail
Selling for my Stepdad. A 2008 Ford Mustang Bullitt. The Cleanest one I've EVER SEEN!!! This thing is so mint you could eat off any body panel of it No JOKE! If your looking at this then you already know what a 2008-2009 Mustang Bullitt is. If not this can tell you all. The Mustang Bullitt returned in February 2008, a variant of the Mustang GT, the last version of which was produced in 2001. It is reminiscent of the Dark Highland Green GT-390 fastback Mustang driven by Steve McQueen in the 1968 film Bullitt. Available in Dark Highland Green or Black exterior paint without spoiler and GT fender emblems; the faux gas cap on the deck lid is replaced by a unique Bullitt version. The Mustang GT's standard fog light-equipped grille is replaced with a specially designed pony-less style grille highlighted by an aluminium accent. Dark Argent Gray 18-inch cast-aluminum euro-flange wheels are used with matching brake calipers and larger, 3.5 inch exhaust tips replace the Mustang GT's standard 3 inch tips. Although side (quarter) window louvers (as shown in picture) are not standard, they are added by owners because they are similar to those on the 1968 Mustang fastback. The Bullitt uses a version of the Mustang GT's aluminum 4.6 L SOHC V8. It has a cold air intake, improved engine calibration, and a revised exhaust system designed to mimic the sound of the Mustang used in the Bullitt movie. Total output is 315 hp (235 kW) @ 6000 rpm and 325 lb·ft (440 N·m) of torque @ 4250 rpm and the engine's redline has been raised to 6500 rpm (from the standard Mustang GT's 6250 rpm). Premium grade, 91-octane or better gasoline is recommended, although an adaptive spark ignition system allows the engine to accept regular grade gasoline. Total output is the same with either fuel, but the engine delivers a flatter torque curve when using premium. The Tremec TR3650 5-speed manual transmission from the Mustang GT is used, but the Bullitt featured a heavier duty rear axle (also used in GT500KR) with 3.73:1 ratio, versus the Mustang GT's 3.31:1 or optional 3:55:1 ratios. The suspension is improved over the standard GT utilizing stiffer springs, struts, and a decorative front strut tower brace while also lowering the car's ride height by six millimeters.[28] Most of the Mustang Bullitt's components are available in the aftermarket for retrofitting earlier S197 Mustang GT vehicles, but some parts used in Bullitt Mustangs are marked to show authenticity. The 2009 Mustang catalog indicate the Bullitt package was available on manual transmission Mustang GT Premium coupes as a regular production option; the same color restrictions apply. Factory Window Sticker (Bullitt Build # 2573) http://services.forddirect.fordvehicles.com/inventory/WindowSticker.pdf?vin=1zvht82h685180267 I found this exact build for him at Fieldhouse Ford in Demotte, IN sitting on the showroom floor. He took delivery of it Veterans Day of 2008. Never been beat on or driven hard EVER. He only did the modifications on it to change the look from other Bullitt's he would see at car shows and stand out from the crowd. As You can see the only options on this are Anti-Theft, Wheels Locks, and HID Headlamps. This is rare because most Bullitt's came with SIRIUS option which put the Bump antenna on trunk lid in 2008 and in 2009 it became standard on all Bullitt's The Miles on this are from mostly driving locally around town to car shows and getting gas and TOUCHLESS car washes. Rarely was this ever on the Highway as he would have fear of rock chips and scratches. other then that the car has sat in the garage with a Ford Mustang OEM car cover on it with a battery tender on it. it got a fresh Royal Purple oil change in the beginning of every season. Modifications/Extras WeatherTECH Front Floor Mats (Have been inside since day 1) K&N Filter Added on to the FORD RACING CAI (paper filter made the car look cheap) Magnaflow 16674 Competition Series Cat back Exhaust to give it that deep growl (professionally installed) SCT XCal 3 with 93 Oct Tune Installed Mustang V6 Rear Badge (give it that distinct look) OEM Plug & Play Sequential Tail Light Mod Hurst Shifter With Long Stick & Black Knob (give it the vintage 60s Look) Silver Horse Racing Painted to match FLUSH MOUNTED QUARTER Vent Louvers (sets it apart from a lot of mustangs) Shorty Antenna Ford OEM Mustang Car Cover SVT Tire Kit Bonus Spare Tire I took out of my Wife's California Special before she sold hers This car was Waxed religiously during the season and pretty much looks like it rolled off the show room floor everyday! Have all paperwork and original window sticker along with both sets of keys and remotes. Clean and Clear title in hand ready to sign over. Original Owner know and have all history of car.
