Here is your chance to purchase a rare and highly optioned 1967 Ford Galaxie XL Convertible. The vehicle is a restoration project and can not be driven in its current form and will need to be towed from its current location in Chino Valley Arizona. The 390 is very strong! The car belongs to my uncle who purchased it in 1980 from his friend who had owned it since 1972. The vehicle has been sitting in its current location for approximately 15 years and my uncle has decided that it is time to sell it to someone who will give it the time it deserves. The vehicle has a clear title in my uncles name. The rear floor boards are soft but included in the sale are a set of 1967 Galaxie floor pans that should cover and damaged areas. The vehicle is the original green color with black top and upholstery however the paint is faded, upholstery is dry and top fabric is shot. The convertible top mechanism is complete. This is a true restorers dream vehicle. While not a weekend project, this car would be a piece of cake for the experienced builder. I will not deal with out of country buyers, no third party transactions and no, I will not arrange shipping. We will accommodate a transport company if that is how you desire to have the vehicle removed from the property. One is encouraged to inspect the vehicle prior to bidding as this is an "as is" sale. There are no warranties expressed or implied. A $500.00 dollar deposit is due within 48 hours of close of auction via PayPal. Cash payment for the remaining balance is to be made with in 1 week at the time of vehicle pickup (unless other arrangements have been made). That being said, it has been described to the best of my ability and honestly. I can not guarantee the unknown.
