Rather than have it collect dust and decay they loaned the car to a museum that housed it on display for 15 years, eventually the couple passed on and the family had to decide what to do with the car, they eventually sold it to a local man (family friend) here in CT who used the car on weekends with his wife, attending local shows, cruise nights and just all around pleasure, Over the last few years however with 12 grand children spread out all over the country the car has been sitting in storage and he decided to part with it and move on, so here it is on Ebay at NO RESERVE! I have been enjoying this car for the last few weeks, runs and drives terrific, motor can barley be heard at idle, transmission and clutch are very tight, rear end is quiet as could be, suspension is very tight, no shakes or vibrations, overall a very nice ride. Interior is very nice, leather seats are nice and soft, still very solid and firm with great pads and springs. Dash chrome is very bright, added front seat belts are the only non factory item. Exterior is very nice, paint is of driver quality and 20+ years old, panels are straight, a good indication of a quality restoration, chips here and there, shines nicely panel gaps are overall very good, chrome is all beautiful, wide white walls and wheels are very clean. All in all as the car sits you would be proud to take it to any show or cruise nice, enjoy it and own a car that has not just been polished up to be resold or run threw one of the national televised auction, your looking at a car the was restored 20+ years ago and has held up great and if cared for will continue to hold up, no worries about what's hiding under all that new paint. I can verify mileage from the purchase back in the 80's as true and correct, about 12k miles has been logged during the history I have with the car.
