Up for bid is a very cool 1967 200cc Triumph Mountain Cub with matching numbers and a clear title in my name. The bike was built by me in the style That I think Triumph should have built it in 1967. Over the production life of the bike Triumph made many improvements to the bike , This one has them all. Many of the modifications can be seen in the photos: Others are: conversion from 6VDC/60watts to 12VDC/180watts,Rectifier/regulator was replaced with an electronic unit, mechanical points ignition replaced with a maintenance free electronic system,lead acid battery was replace with a 12VDC Lithium Ion 9amp battery. All electrical and mechanical systems on this bike function well as intended. The only negative the I can find are some minor paint chips on the frame that have been touched up and are barely noticeable. Each and every part on this bike was cleaned, inspected, repaired, replated, repainted, and/or replaced . I have receipts in the amount of $11,000.00 which were invested in the rebuild of this bike. Total expense was for new parts with the exception of reboring the cylinder and reconditioning the valves. All other labor was provided by me and this cost was not included in the $11,000.00. I realize that my investment far exceeds the value of the bike and I have adjusted my reserve to reflect the actual value of the bike. Included with the sale are: an original maintenance manual, a parts manual and all my receipts for purchases.
