I am selling my 1956 Safari in this auction. This is one of the best left in the world. Its estimated that on 200 exist and only 50 California cars exist. According to the dealer The car had been updated when I purchased it with a rebuilt late 60ies 389 GTO Motor with 325 HP and a 350 turbo Tranny. I had the engine checked out and it was in perfect running order. I had some things done to the car which included a repaint , new interior door skins,carpet and headliner. I also added Air, an aux fan, new windshield wipers and motor and rebuild the light under the hood that can be unrealed to fix a flat. THE BODY IS DENT AND SCRATCH FREE AND THE CHROME IS IN LIKE NEW CONDITION. A FEW OF THE STAINLESS HAS SOME MINOR DINGS. AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PICS THE UNDERCARRIAGE IS VERY SOLID AS WOULD BE EXPECTED FROM A CALIFORNIA CAR. IS HAS LOTS OF POWER AND SHIFTS PERFECT. NO PROBLE KEEPING UP IN TRAFFIC. GREAT CAR FOR TAIL GATE PARTIES FOR SURE AN WIN EVERY TROPHY. IT KILLS THE NOMAD IN LOOKS. TIRES,BREAK,MUFFLERS,WHEELS AND TAIL PIPES ALL NEW. BREAKS ARE NEW AS WELL AS BALL JOINTS.
