Up for Auction here is a Clean southern passenger van. It's a 1989 GMC Rally STX with the infamous Detroit 6.2 Diesel Engine. Don't let the age of this vehicle fool you this thing is more than decent and it's mechanic owned. Power windows, power steering, with tilt wheel and cruise control. power locks, Aftermarket am/fm cd player Just some of the things that were done recently.. Rebuilt fuel injection pump, new lift pump, new vacuum pump, all new fuel lines. both primary and secondary fuel filters.. Complete new front end, including Upper and lower Ball joints, tie rod ends sway bar bushings, new front springs, and everything in between followed by a front end alignment. New rear heater core (there's a front and rear heat and ac system) The van is great but it is still 25 years old so don't expect a new one. drivers and passenger windows go up and down but kind of slow when they get near the top. The ac works good but it's not ice freezing cold. The van may drip a drop of oil or two on the driveway nothing major, but if this bothers you then Please look elsewhere. The van uses about a half a quart of oil between oil changes which are every 3000 miles. I use 15w40 Shell Rotella It has a 700r trans which has overdrive and the van gets pretty good mileage approx. 17-20mpg. Tires are decent as well as the brakes and were all replaced about 2 years ago. You can tell this van didn't get driven allot. 2 years ago, I had a 2" receiver hitch installed and wiring for a 7 round as well as flat 4 as well as a Reese electric brake controller and trans oil cooler. The work was all performed by U-Haul in Gainsville Florida. I didn't tow anything with the van just wanted that option if I needed it. There's only minor surface rust along the roof gutters in some spots(see Pics) and on the step where you get in and out again I tried to capture in pictures. The seats are pretty decent, are clean and show minimal wear. the rear seat folds down into a bed as well. This van has allot of life left and will serve it's new owner well.
