This 1949 MGTC has been in dry storage for 34 years. Seems to have always been a race car. It has the correct center bead front motorcycle type fenders, leather wrapped leaf springs, 16" racing wires, twin fuel pumps, extra gages and bucket seat backs. I purchased it 2006 brought it home got it started and ran perfect. removed valve cover, no gunk looked all new! It has a engine replacement tag on the engine #83867. Frame is almost rust free, the wood is excellent, the body & sheet metal and dings, dents, scratches, and repainted spots etc. Odometer reads 6872 (that's a lot of races, but I guess exempt) Brakes don't work, chassis rolls free. no tach drive on generator, and some loose wires under dash.I have 3 of the side curtain frames. THIS IS A TRUE SURVIVOR OF EARLY 50s RACING that's almost untouched for 60 years. Can send more pic. PICK UP IN CENTRAL INDIANA. SELLS @ NO RESERVE!!!!!!
