Vintage Ford Model A truck, originally restored in 1983 and seller purchased it from an estate in 1987. It was registered and licensed in the state of Illinois in 1988 as an Antique Vehicle. Plates are not up to date since it has been in storage for the last 10 years. It had a complete mechanical restoration in 1993 - 94 but nothing has been done to the body since it was purchased. Body needs complete work over due to surface rust but steel is solid throughout. Roof has rotted out but interior wood can be refurbished. Original engine runs ok even though it has been setting for eight years. All five tires were replaced in 1994 and have seldom been driven on - still like new. Would probably be classified at the lower end of "Low Retail" by NADA as a "deteriorated restoration". 4 cylinders, 40 horsepower, 3 speed manual transmission, 6 volt system, 4-wheel mechanical brakes, sun visor, crank out windshield, and left fender mounted spare. Would be an excellent original vehicle for a hobbyist who wants to restore again or convert into a street rod.
