This 1967 Dodge Dart GT Convertible was restored recently but the job was not complete or done the way I would do it. It has new paint, interior, new top and weather stripping and all the chrome and trim was redone as well as new bumpers. The car was stored for approximately 30 years in a garage right by the ocean so there was some rust issues that were not dealt with the right way. This is a really rare body car so I knew that restomodded the right way this could be a $60,000 car. My plan was to strip this down and start over. I was going to pull out the slant six, tranny and rear end and buy a late model donor car like an SRT8 Challenger or Charger and take everything out and put it into the Dart. However, my wife has been battling cancer for a couple of years and it has gotten worse. Medical treatments are $2,200 a month and I can no longer keep the car. I'm in it $12,000 in the last year. I just wouldn't trust it for any distance as I have only ever driven it around the block. The floor pans have been replaced and you could just use it the way it is but they did not use the NOS sheet metal pans. They used just plain sheet metal and screwed it in. If you don't know what that means then don't bid on it. I would redo it if I were keeping it. All the trim pieces should be there. There is a lot of it but it's all wrapped up as everything has been polished or rechromed.
