Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is a used 1993 Mazda ES. This is the top of the line model, though not all of the optional equipment was added. For example, the interior is cloth rather than leather. The seats are manually adjustable. The seats show little wear for the most part and have held up well. The interior is more worn in some places than in others. The ceiling has some tears, and the cardboard frame of the driver’s sun visor is showing. However, the lighted vanity mirrors in both visors still work. The carpeting is stained in the rear, but I haven’t tried to remove it. It may very well come out. The rears seats have no tears whatsoever. The exterior of the vehicle is in fairly good condition considering its age. The body is complete, and aside from a couple of minor dings and a dent, it’s pristine. The clear coat has mostly faded, but the paint is intact. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE The car has had the transmission, shift cable, engine, alternator, catalytic converter, and front suspension replaced. The engine was the first thing I replaced in the vehicle. I did not purchase the engine, so I cannot vouch for its mileage. I was told it had less than 100,000 miles, but again, I don’t know for certain. I personally put less than 20,000 miles on the car, and the engine runs well and doesn’t leak. The shift cable was replaced about two years ago. The transmission was recently replaced with a Japanese import and was supposed to have 50,000 miles or less on it. I have put about 3,000 miles on it since. It does not leak and shifts well. Most of the front suspension was replaced with new parts (control arms, ball joints, shocks, struts, mounts, wheel hubs). The catalytic converter was replaced. The air filter was also recently replaced. The alternator gave out about a month ago and was replaced. The brake pads probably need to be replaced in a while and the tires retain most of their tread. There have been several other miscellaneous repairs done on the vehicle, including tune ups.Mechanically, the only problem is the vehicle's rough idling.
