Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a 2002 Honda CR250 (two stroke). Last time top end was rebuilt was in late 2011 with all OEM Honda parts. Has run a total of about 5 hours since then. Don't know the exact mileage, so I just put the approximate engine run time since top-end rebuilt. I changed the oil with Honda HP every ride (about every 30 minutes engine run time). Last time I rode the motorcycle was about 4 months ago to empty out the carb and tank for LIVING ROOM storage. The bike still runs great and rides awesome. The engine has excellent compression. Transmission clicks-in perfectly on up-shifts and down-shifts. Before coming into the living room, last time I took it over to a track (buffalo valley in San Antonio-a lot of the past regulars will recognize the bike!) was in April 2013. That's right, this baby has been a work of art in our living room for 4 months now. When I brought it in I put the airbox cover on, emptied the gas tank and plugged the silencer to keep everything kosher. I think it is finally about time someone else gets to enjoy the ferocious 250-2stroke on the track, the ideal way to enjoy this work of art. If you want to see the motorcycle in action go to youtube and search for chealbertinho. This is my profile and has my videos riding the motorcycle on sale today. There is one video of a gokart, that is obviously not part of this sale. Let's get started with all the specs: Original forks were rebuilt in late 2012 New plastics all around in 2013 except for radiator shrouds Throttle Jockey Factory Honda team decal pack and seat cover! FMF fatty pipe and Power Core 2 silencer. Slight bend on the pipe, but nothing major, throat is still perfectly open and not bent shut. Basically just a low side that put the tiniest of dents on the pipe and raised the angle ever so slightly on the left side. So tiny pictures won't even show it and you wouldn't know it unless I told you (which I just did). Renthal twin wall bars. Tires are about 80% front and 60% rear. Sprockets and chain COULD be changed, but not absolutely necessary to. Grips could use updating, and the rear brake could use some adjusting. But that's about all the negative there is to it. I would say the bike is excellent but because it is a motocrosser, and 12 years old, I really can't. I would say it is an 8 out of 10. ***Sold as is, on a bill of sale only; no title*** ***If you don't have 100% positive feedback or have less than 10 feedback score, please contact me before buy-it-now*** If you pick up the bike yourself, sale will include a few extras: assortment of fluids oils lubricants, original manual, stand pictured above and a couple other items I'm sure I forgot to list. Will not include any riding gear on the sale. Again: No title available so the sale will be on a bill of sale. Make me a reasonable offer, I will entertain it! I prefer to keep the sale local, although I'm willing to ship the bike but I won't drive it anywhere, buyer will have to arrange for pick up of the motorcycle. I can help load, but that's where my handy-work stops. I will take paypal, cash, or money order. If full paypal or money order payment, motorcycle will be released when funds are fully cleared (could take up to 7 business days). If cash, I will have my magic marker ready to make sure the buyer isn't having too much fun printing money on their home printer. Payment is due within 3 days of seller accepting an offer (or buy-it-now). Immediate $500 paypal deposit required upon sale.
