Vehicle Detail

I'm third owner. Owned since 1995. Great driver. Have some original paperwork. 89000 original miles. This wagon was invited to the Wagon exhibit in Iola 2004. Must sell. More info upon request. Thanks for looking. On Jul-19-14 at 13:32:51 PDT, seller added the following information: First of all, thanks to all of you who have shown an interest in the wagon. And my apologies to you all for not having posted more info sooner; I'm an eBay newbie, and I know I've been less than thorough compared to many posters. I hope to make up for that with the following disclosures. Simple first: these tires, though they still have tread, should be replaced, because the wagon sat in storage since 2006. I've taken 20 photos of the doors and rocker areas; I can forward these via text or email. I still hope to have more detailed photos of the interior and undercarriage by this Monday or Tuesday. Now, the complex: I took the first video June 16. I've added another today. Sadly, the running condition of the wagon isn't what it was on the first video, or even what it was three days ago. Yesterday I took the wagon out for the second video and some photos. After not more than ten minutes on the road, the oil light came on and white smoke belched out of the exhaust. I limped back to my storage facility. This morning I attempted to start the wagon; while the starter engaged, the engine wouldn't, and I fried the starter as a result. As you can see from the second video, the wagon has been towed, and it is my hope that it will be in as good an operating condition, or better, than it was in the first video. I also hope to have these repairs completed by the close of the auction. I'll pose a question to you all; should I cancel the auction or keep it going? A number of you have expressed serious interest in the wagon. It's currently bid to around 3K. That amount of money may seem insignificant to some, but to me, that is a serious financial commitment that I intend to honor. I presented this vehicle on eBay as a good running honest original car; if it's not running by Wednesday, I'll end the auction and reopen it when the Fury runs again. The one silver lining in all of this is that these operational difficulties happened to me and not to one of you. I'm sure most of you old car folks have been where I'm at right now, but perhaps not in such a public forum. I'll go with the consensus of your collective input as to whether or not to pull the plug on the auction prior to Wednesday. That's all for now: happy motoring! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QZqx45RZuc0 On Jul-23-14 at 15:28:54 PDT, seller added the following information: FINAL REVISION: just heard from the shop; needs new Intake gasket heater core starter plus labor, will cost me $800-900 to get the Fury runnung again. Should be done Monday or Tuesday. I just wanted to let you all know what is going on; I feel ethically I'll have to get the repairs done and relist the auction. I'll probably end it early tomorrow. But I wanted to get this info up for all to see. Thanks to all of you who bid in good faith. Contact me if you need further info.
