2010 Mercedes Benz S550 4-MATIC. Fully loaded with options including the AMG package. Only 20000 original miles. Dark charcoal gray with light gray leather interior. Both the car and the color combo look beautiful. The car was only on the road for about 2 years. It still looks like a new Mercedes. All original paint is like new. Never hit. The new car inspection sticker is still on the window. The car was parked in a parking garage that flooded. This was fresh water, not salt water. The car needs the main rear computer replaced to run again. The dealer gave me a price of $800 for the part. I do not know if the car will need anything else replaced. The water level was not real high, about several feet. I marked the water line to show this. It was not completely flooded. The car was still like a brand new S550 before this happened. The original price was $110,000 4 years ago. Book value is still in the $50,000 range with such low miles in excellent condition. My reserve is so low it's pittyful. The car is just sitting in my garage and I know I will never find the time to repair it. The Mercedes is sold as is with a P.A. state salvage title. It will have to be reinspected by your state DMV after you repair it in order to register the car again. I can explain how this is done. It's not an issue. Although the car has some issues due to the water, it is in much better condition then you may think. This was fresh water, not salt and the car was not totally flooded out. The car can and will be on the road again. The main issue is that computer. I would expect the car to come back to life after the computer is replaced, however, I can not say this for sure. There is no water in the engine and the interior is dry and clean. The tires are all perfect and the car is 100% complete. Come and inspect the car for yourself if possible. If you would like to see any closeup photos, just let me know and I will take them for you. There is nothing to hide here. This car was not even broken in when this happened. 20000 miles is nothing for an S550. Everything about the car has been told. Thanks again for the interest.
