This 1975 Honda XL100 K1 is in fantastic condition. A true 39 year old beauty with only 3812 miles. It starts easily, runs great, is a blast to ride, and always draws attention. The paint on the fenders, tank, and right side cover is all original. The seat cover and seat pan are original. All lights, turn signals, horn, and switches are original and work perfectly. This is an original survivor that has received what I would call a sympathetic restoration. The engine covers, exhaust, and taillight bracket were recently painted to match original paint. The left side cover is a repro cover with matching paint and decal. The Honda decal on the right side of the tank was replaced due to a scuff on it. The inside of the tank was coated with Red Kote. I just installed a new battery, new throttle cable, new clutch cable, new speedometer cable, changed the oil, and put in a new float, needle valve and seat. This bike is 100% ready to ride and street legal. Please look at the pictures as they are a good representation of the condition of this bike. I have a clear WI title in my name ready to be signed over. There are only a couple things that keep this from being truly perfect. The speedometer does not work properly, as the needle bounces. It’s not the cable, which was just replaced with a NOS one. The odometer works fine, so it is something internally in the speedo. There are a couple very soft, shallow dents on the left side of the tank that are hardly noticeable. I did my best to show them in the photos. On the right side cover there used to be an old dealer sticker on it. The sticker was removed so the paint is slightly darker in that spot, as shown in the photos. I have over 10 years of 100% positive feedback. I believe in describing everything as accurately as possible, and using plenty of good pictures. The new owner of this bike will not be disappointed!
