1965 (1964.5) FORD MUSTANG Convertible GT 350 CLONE This is Rust-Free car is originally from California and spent 11 years in Florida prior to moving to NY. Original V8 Motor with performance intake and holly 4 Banger carb intake. USERS WITH ZERO FEEDBACK, PLEASE CONTACT ME FIRST BEFORE BIDDING OR YOUR OFFER WILL BE REJECTED. ENGINE & MAINTENANCE 1965 had some poor designs which were remedied here for safety and performance. Old for squeaks and front ends are not possible. Custom Mustang shop installed a completed Heidt's Mustang which includes rack & pinion steering combined with coil over suspension. Thus shock towers and squeaks are gone which allows it to handle like a late model. Power brakes were added with the installation as well. Over-Sized 15" disc brakes were added in the front. Points and condenser replaced with electronic ignition for reliability. Belt fan replaced with electric thermostat fans for more power. Rotary compressor replaces the old air compressor. This pony can also now handle any new style Cobra engine as there is room with the new front end. Rebuilt auto tranny shifts perfect and has a quick shift kit installed.NEW 4 ROW Alluminum Radiator and Fan added for extra engine cooling.New RED TOP Battery added for extra power. INTERIOR New Pony seats with all new seat buns go nice with the wood Cobra Wheel. Also a tilt steering column was added after installing the rack & pinion. Center console was after market added but adds a nice touch. New Carpet throughout the car. Custom Autosound with kick panel speakers for the stereo was added, which compliments the Multi-Disc changer in the trunk. New stereo system resembles the factory audio system, but operates with the multi-disc changer & AM/FM radio. EXTERIOR Shelby hood with metal bracing is a perfect match for the Shelby Front lower cowling which pushes air to the engine. Rear California Special style turn and end caps were added. The mustang blue and white pin stripes paint are less than 3 years old and flawless on the arrow-straight car. Billet aluminum tail lights and matching Cobra Gas cap were also added. The power convertible top works great and goes up and down in a jiffy. Factory Convertible boot for the convertible top is also included. This was the only part of the car which was not replaced, as I did not care for it since the car was only taken out in warm sunny weather. VEHICLE IS BEING SOLD AS IS WHERE IS.
