I purchased this 2003 Jeep Liberty from a good friend of mine. The engine stopped working a few weeks ago and she had to sell it so I did her a favor and bought it from her. I had a mechanic check it out and the engine has low compression. The Exterior is super clean and has zero rust on the under carriage, it spent it's entire in the Virginia Beach area. This Liberty has the 2.4L 4 cylinder motor mated to a 5-speed manual transmission with 2-wheel drive, this SUV is a very rare combination and will make a great commuter car for someone seeking an SUV without the expense of gas mileage. The SUV will be great for a mechanic or salvage yard who already has a motor. I do not have the time or resources to fix the truck so my loss is your gain.
