1951 Ford Club Coupe This is a Texas car, a 1951 Ford Club Coupe. It is an excellent daily driver and a solid car inside and out. All custom features and upgrades were professionally done with quality in mind. Everything works as it’s supposed to work. This car drives and handles very smoothly. I have found it to be a very dependable car. It gets good gas mileage, especially on the highway. The only time I ever checked the mileage, I was getting 23 mpg (highway). Oil changes and all routine maintenance were performed faithfully. I am only selling because now I need my truck 100 % of the time, and don’t need a car. Paint is NOT show quality. I consider it was a solid paint job, and shows the normal wear you’d expect to see on a daily driver. The paint has small imperfections but does not detract or cause any secondary issues. Front and rear bumpers are painted over sand blasted chrome (and are rust free). The 1951 Ford Club Coupe body is straight, tight, and rust free. There are no leaks – water nor air. The 51 Ford body has a modern frame and complete powertrain under it from a ’97 Chevrolet S10 (wheelbase and tracking matches up perfectly). The entire powertrain has only 57K miles on it. Custom Grille is from a ’53 or ’54 Chevy, with four teeth added The instrument cluster (from same ‘97 Chevy S10) was grafted into the OEM dash, and all associated electronic modules and wire harnesses are correctly installed under the dash or under the hood on the firewall. Passenger compartment is surrounded (floor, doors, roof, inside firewall, side panels, etc) with a high quality acoustic absorbing material, allowing a quiet ride inside as well as being necessary for a good audio system.
