Straight Up: This C10 has rust and hasn't been driven or run since 2010. Must Be Sold As Is Where Is. -- The Truck Is For Sale Not To Much Above Scrap Value -- With that said here goes. This was my personnel pick up for many years, my daughter called it “Old Betsy". I toke it off the road in 06 and used it around the land until approx 2010. It was running fine when I parked it. In o6 it flunked Va inspection for the drivers side window only. I kept it up with a door stop unless I needed it down. They said I had to be able to put it down for an officer. Well I could, but they would not buy it. As you can see the truck has a good amount of rust especially: bed – tail gate – rocker panels. The floors seem overall solid. I never did know what engine or trans was in it. Its a two barrel V8 that's what I do know and it was not hard on gas. Unknown mileage, title says 54k, how many roll overs ? The wire rig and duct tape under the hood was an old road fix for a leaking radiator hose. Power steering, no power breaks. I'm sure brakes will need work. Right front tire keeps wanting to go flat, holds air approx 12 hours. I'm sure the engine will turn and the old saying: “If she will turn - she will run”. Anyway when I get a chance before auction ends I'll borrow a battery from something and at least confirm it will turn over. Like I said she was running when parked. The truck is also for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime. If the truck can't be picked up by Thursday the 3rd of July, it possibly won't be available again for pickup until after Sunday the 6th. I'm sure there's still a lot of good parts left on it or give it some tlc, throw a piece of 4 x 8 plywood in the bed and “Old Betsy” will be chugging down the road again. It definitely still maintains good eye appeal from a distance. A true classic. Before I did anything I pulled each plug cleaned it and WD40'd inside the plug holes good. Just to give the cylinders and pistons some initial lubrication. I did manage to break one plug but plugged the hole with the threaded end. I then shot lots of WD40 down inside and around the carb just to give it something. Had the wife shot a few shots of starter fluid in the carb and no lie she fired right up the first time for a few seconds. Tried again and it ran a little longer and sounded good. Anyway that's the update , she turns and runs. But she still must be sold as is. Many Thx ----------
